  Chapter 1

  Liza

  Yes. This was the outfit. It screamed ‘fuck me,’ and though certainly not my typical look, tonight was different. Tonight, I wanted to party like my peers had been doing all along.   “Damn straight I’m not going to tell. My dad would kill me if he saw me dressed like this, then kill me again if he knew what I planned on doing tonight.”

  Hallie stopped in the hallway and looked at me, both hands on her hips.

  “None of the guys on the football team are gonna go running to your daddy to tell him what you did. He’s their coach, the guy that can make their lives hell, remember? Relax and let’s have some fun, girl!”

  “This party is going to be wild. If you need me, find me or text me. Let loose, girl, and party!”

  I giggled at the image of me letting loose and acting like she did every weekend. I had played the role of a studious good girl for so long that this was going to be strange. Strange, but fun.   “Wow,” I muttered as we walked into the house. There were scantily clad women everywhere. Young men, most of them the athletes from school, were raucously drinking and shouting. It was a scene I was very unfamiliar with.

  Out of thin air, two red cups filled with some blue liquid materialized and were thrust at us.

  “Drink up, ladies,” said a young man as he handed us the cups.
